Analyst Bluepapers (ABP) is an open source intelligence and international public affairs analysis journal that prepares blue papers and white papers on selected topics of interest to public and private sector decision makers. There is free and fee content at ABP.
'Bluepapers' connote the analyst's ethos that strives toward the ideal of objective analytic essays and reports on international, national and local public affairs and their relationships. A bluepaper essay will generally focus on one event, person, policy, source or relationship, then put it in context. Bluepapers are updated and or superceded. Bluepapers are our free content which focus on widespread current event reports available in open source media. They are closer to news analysis or perspective than the academic work of a Whitepaper. Free content is posted in the public interest and useful for giving those interested in fee content a chance to judge the merits of the work product of ABP.
'Whitepapers' identify specific intelligence related and public affairs problems, analyze them and recommend solutions, where possible. These involve not only research, but idea generation and development. Whitepapers involve academic research and citation of sources, and are fee based content, or commissioned content.
